Melinda Doolittle releases new book, 'Beyond Me,' in May

American Idol alum and Brentwood resident Melinda Doolittle shares stories and success secrets in her new book, Beyond Me, which hits shelves on May 4.

In Beyond Me, Doolittle looks at her experiences on Idol and in her life as the child of a single mother to help the reader achieve their own goals.

“I haven’t just sat back and let life throw at me whatever it will," she explains in a press release.
"Instead—and this has been key—I’ve always worked to find my way to life’s next level.”
